Calculator for blank mesh parameters

Excel sheet to get the right value of initial blank mesh according to the blank thickness, the stretching, the minimal radius to catch and the strategy targeted.

Unzip the file attached and use then the Excel file.

Guidelines for how to use it:

• Enter the thickness and the stretching values,
• In the first column, search the minimal radius to catch,
• Choose then the strategy you need: feasibility or validation, and the level of refinement expected,
• In the intersection, you will get the initial blank mesh size value, to use then in Pamstamp.

In case of n.a. value, you need to use less refinement levels, to not have coarse blank mesh size.
