Summary

The steady state viscous flow in the passage between two concentric cylinders is considered. The inner cylinder is a solid and the outer cylinder is hollow thus creating the passage. Pressure difference between the inlet and outlet sets up a steady flow pattern that can be analyzed to obtain an exact solution for the velocity profile and volumetric flow rate.
