Virtual Performance Solution

ESI Virtual Performance Solution is a unique solution allowing manufacturers to face emerging design challenges including those related to lightweight and green vehicles while avoiding over-engineering.

It enables design and simulation engineers to test rapidly their innovations on virtual prototypes, rather than real ones.

Virtual Performance Solution also offers a distinctive approach, allowing the virtual testing of product performance across multiple domains using a single core model.

Virtual Performance Solution 2023 introduces new types of element specifically adapted to model laser weld and T-connections. It also includes a generic interface for co-simulation with Functional Mock-up Unit (FMU) in order to address new active safety challenges and a new flexible way to manage output data.

In addition, implicit solution has been improved by introducing a segment to segment  TIED option , capacity to model Short fiber composites accuratly and a nonlinear cohesive element.
