ESI Visual-Environment 2023.0 is now available.
Highlights of this version include:
- A new licensing strategy comprising flexible tokens called “ESI_ TOKEN” introduced for all Manufacturing applications except Casting.
- A first industrial release for (Visual)BM-Stamp including support for Springback compensation.
- In Visual-Cast, handling of anisotropy for elastic modulus and thermal conductivity.
- ERF results storage optimization and import in Visual-Viewer CAST.
- Configured mesh orientation per layer in Visual-FORM.
- Output Parser enabling access to VPS output listing files through Python scripts in Visual-Crash PAM and Seat Belt tool enhancements with pictorial workflow and plane handles for belt path definition.
- Improvements in element quality and updates in CAD import in Visual-Mesh.
- Support for FEMZIP 12.98 for ERFH5 files and support for ISO 18571 CORA rating in Visual-Viewer.
VE 2023.0.2 cumulative update is mainly targeted to have bug fixes which are addressed in Visual-SDK:

Install a new process patch, appends the current process with the existing process list.

Processes that were in the path defined by the environment variable "VPE_INCREMENTAL_RESOURCE_PATH" were not getting listed.

In some paths, posting a GUI was causing a core dump in the process workflow
