概要
This training is related to the simulation of electromagnetic scattering phenomena appearing in the High Frequency range and/or with large scale models. Typical applications will be illustrated in various industrial sectors such as Aeronautics & Defence (RADAR Signatures & Stealth), Marine (Antenna Placement) or Automotive (RADAR sensors for Active Safety). The course is mainly based on two numerical techniques operating in Frequency Domain, namely Physical Optics (CEM-HF product) and the Boundary Element Method (CEM-FD product). The related solvers technology will be first introduced before a step-by-step review of the computational process: CAD data management, materials and boundary conditions, meshing stage, sources modelling, results visualization and post-processing. Special attention will be paid to the combined use of both solvers (S/W coupling through near fields, Spherical Wave Expansion) when targeting realistic industrial applications.
対象
