Using the MOD File Facility for Run-Time Modification of the Radiation Solver Control Parameters

Most users of CFD-ACE+ are already familiar with the MOD file feature and its usage. This feature allows the user to modify on-the-fly various solver and control parameters while a computation is running, either to increase the convergence level of the overall solution or to speed up the overall computation. In CFD-ACE+ V2013.4, new commands were added to the MOD file feature to enable the user to change the Radiation solver control parameters. With these new commands, it is now possible to change the type of linear solver being used for the Radiation Module (with CGS and AMG being the two possible choices here), the number of sweeps for the chosen linear solver, and the convergence criterion of the chosen linear solver.
