How can I get an accurate Radiation Loss Factor to use in my SEA model?
One can use a hybrid model with an FE subsystem with an FE face connected to a SIF, and calculate the radiation efficiency. From this the radiation loss factor can be calculate

Does VA One SEA use cached data when solving in batch mode?
Yes. With a .va1 as input to the batch solve, VA One SEA will use the CLF's cached in that .va1 if they exist. However, when passed a .ntf or .xml file VA One SEA solves from scratch each time.

How can I move a VA One model backwards in versions using xml?
Possible solutions: A workaround is to copy/paste in the 3D window, which will work in many cases. Copy and Paste will work - it just depends on what you are Copy and Pasting...

How can I reduce the size of the modal data imported in a hybrid model?
The model will always contain enough data to solve, and give basic results. For models with hybrid area junctions, nodal data for all wetted faces will be generated/recovered which results in much data.

Can I set 'none' as the trim when using pi_fPlateGetTrimTL?
No, you cannot set the TRIM parameter to null using the call .You would have to use another approach of plotting the effective TL (Results>Effective Transmission Loss) instead. Below is a short snippet of how to do this.
