Objectives

Learn about additional modeling capabilities. Create your own functions, calculation blocks, model types, and model libraries and packages. We will show you what possibilities you have with the integrated Modelica wizard, the TypeDesigner. Learn how to create extensive libraries without programming knowledge using simple examples.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge in physics is recommended as well as previous participation in the course "Introduction to SimulationX I - Fundamentals".

- Creating new libraries

- Using reusable blocks and functions

- Clear design of property dialogs

- Branching of equation systems

- Use of characteristic curves and maps

- Implementation of loops and iteration procedures

- Implementation of a database connection

- Different spring/damper models

- Function for tension/compression stress calculation

- Rope model

- PWM (pulse width modulation, 3 variants)

- Euclidean algorithm

- Intersection of two curves with the Newton algorithm

- Management of data sets by means of records, among other things
