Description

The 3-day training conveys knowledge about the use, application and operation of Visual-Assembly for the fast optimization of  Welding sequences. The entire training is provided by practical exercises and examples.

Objectives

The objective of the training is to use the simulation and corresponding software tools to receive fast prediction of welding distortions and to have a targeted optimization of the welding sequences for large structures.

  • Preparation of a welding simulated Meshing with Visual-Mesh
  • Introduction to Visual-Assembly, Program and user interface
    • Prediction of welding distortion
    • Improvement of welding planning
    • Optimization of the welding sequence
  • Processing of B-pillar (automotive engineering)
  • Processing of rigid system (shipbuilding)
  • Evaluation and analysis of the calculation results with Visual-Viewer
