VPS - NVH and Interiour Acoustic


Description

This course is an introduction to structural and acoustics simulations in VPS. Emphasis is on interior acoustics taking into account fluid-structure interaction and handling of porous elastic media (PEM). PEM elements can be used to represent the different trim parts. (foams, fibers, plastic panels and damping pads). Participants acquire basic knowledge and understanding of the low frequency automotive interior acoustic possibilities of Virtual Performance Solution.

Prerequisites

The previous participation in the course “VPS - Getting started with Static and NVH” or comparable knowledge.
