Content of ESI FlexNet Licensing toolkit v11.19.7.0 on Linux ARMv8 (aarch64)

Description of this toolkit:

• FlexNet Publisher (FNP) Licensing Server toolkit, composed of:

lmgrd
lmutil
pam_lmd
enduser.pdf

Starting a license server in command line: lmgrd -c my-license-file.lic -l my-debug-log-file.log
Have a look at FlexNet Publisher License Administration Guide delivered in this toolkit (page 106).

• Custom Vendor Utility generator

GetESIVDH

This utility is used by ESIGetHostID.sh script. There is no need to use it directly.

• Script delivered by ESI that helps getting necessary details from a computer to be used as license server

ESIGetHostID.sh

Running ESIGetHostID.sh script will get the required system information that will be used for the generation of license file.

The resulting text file ESIGetHostID_ComputerName_date.txt has to be sent to ESI for license generation & support.

• ESI License file debug utility parses the content of license file (given as argument) and displays lots of relevant details from a running license server

2. When machine type is Virtual:
The FNP Licensing Service utility is not yet supported on such system.
VM_UUID can not be determined for armv8 (aarch64) architecture systems yet. Please rely on mac address for license generation.
