Basic PAM-STAMP

Description:

This course focuses on introduction to PAM-STAMP (Graphical user interface, process setup for fast feasibility and production validation). Participants learn to prepare models, run simulations, and evaluate results via the PAM-STAMP Graphical User Interface.

Audience:

CAE engineers, model designers, and experienced manufacturing engineers involved in the stamping process

Objectives:

Learn to perform a stamping simulation using the PAM-STAMP complete stamping solution which covers the entire tooling process to formability and try-out validation

Prerequisites:

Basic knowledge of the stamping process and of CAE software

• Introduction to Visual-DIESTARTER for rapid die design
• Introduction to PAM-STAMP for fast feasibility assessment and production validation
• Description of PAM-STAMP modules
• File system description
• General Section: GUI particularities
• Poor/Good mesh quality for tools and blank
• Draw Bead Generation and Manipulation
• Data setup (Inputs, contacts, multistage) using predefined macros
• Results analysis (wrinkles, cracks, FLD…)
• Demo: full stamp value chain
• Simple examples
• Introduction to Toolkit to generate macros
• Discussion, Q&A
