ESI SYSTUS is developed following close cooperation with leading international firms.
SYSTUS brings a complete answer to analysis challenges in mechanics, heat transfer, and electrotechnics specifically in the mechanical engineering areas of energy & transportation sectors.
Some of the differentiators of SYSTUS are:
- Applications to perform Regulatory Analyses (ASME, RCCM, RCCMRX…)
- Allow industrials to perform brittle and ductile fracture mechanics analyses via simplified to advanced methods
- Ability to deal with advanced Materials: Material models and behavior laws available cover a wide range of phenomena
- Application dedicated to Topology Optimization
ESI SYSTUS 2019.0 includes:
- SYSTUS 2019.0
- SYSTUS SMNL 2019.0

TOPAZE APPLICATION DEDICATED TO TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION
The application TOPAZE enable to solve problems of shape optimization, by using an innovative mix of level-set technology and topological optimization. This application is fully integrated into Visual-Environment.
Highlights of TOPAZE 2019
SYMMETRY
A symmetry criterion, defined by the SYMMETRY label, has been added.
The purpose of this criterion is not to reduce the size of the model to optimize but to constrain the final shape to be symmetrical even if unsymmetrical physical conditions are applied to it (most of the time, unsymmetrical loads).
THERMAL
In addition to mechanical criteria, it is now possible to perform topological optimization with thermal criteria in linear statics.
The criteria added are the equivalents of the mechanical criteria already available, namely:
- Thermal energy,
- Temperature,
- Thermal flux.
GRAPHIC INTERFACE
The graphical interface has been completely reviewed to make it more user-friendly and to allow users to simply benefit from many basic to advanced criteria.
Particularly, the harmonic response analysis in direct method and modal method are now fully available via the interface.
The version 2019.0 of this application is available now with SYSTUS 2018.0 in Visual Environment 14.5.
Please check User's Guide of TOPAZE for SYSTUS 2018.0 for more details.
