ESI Interior Solution is the new solution dedicated to the virtual prototyping of seats and interior. It includes all the functionalities from Virtual Seat Solution. Interior Solution is dedicated to seat virtual prototyping extended with new functionalities for interior and cabin virtual prototyping.

It empowers OEMs, seat and cabin suppliers to design, manufacture, test, improve and pre-certify their interior prototypes, fully and virtually, without the need for costly physical prototypes.

This version is based on the following platforms versions:

• Visual-Environment 16.0    
• CSM Solver 20.0

Highlights of this release

Seat and Cabin Thermal Comfort

• Seat Thermal modelling:  dedicated workflow to add thermal properties and equipment to an already existing seat model.
• Occupied heated seat: quick evaluation of thermal performance and comfort in a uniform environment.
• Full Cabin: detailed evaluation of cabin thermal performance by coupling heated seat, human model and HVAC (CFD methods).

Static Comfort

• Human Positioning: dedicated positioning tool based on targeted position and angles.
• Occupant Positioning by best-fit: for all occupants (HPM1, HRMD, Human), optimal initial positioning in one click.
• H-Point Optimization: post-processing improvements to visualize all iterations together, choose the right one, and save it as the new seat model.
