The tremendous increase in the use of electronic devices in the automotive sector is leading to hard-to-manage EMC situations. The Joint Study presented in this paper is demonstrating the ability of Numerical EMC to be integrated in the development cycle of industrial vehicles. Within this framework, a feasibility demonstration was performed as a blind test on realistic vehicles, ending with the successful comparison of simulated results with experimental measurements. This work was continued with the analysis of the industrial process (CAD data, numerical mock-up availability, etc.), and concluded by the deployment of one industrialized solution on the end-users’ site.
