SimulationX
3.9.4
3 May 2021
ESI’s SimulationX® provides you with state-of-the-art technology in physical system simulation. As a single platform for modeling and analyzing dynamic system behavior, you can use it in various engineering fields. SimulationX allows you to fully analyze the interaction between your system’s parts, components and assemblies (subsystems). Identify and optimize the parameters with the biggest influence on the system behavior and design new concepts. Based on the open model description language Modelica®, SimulationX comes with many predefined model libraries that can be used out-of-the-box. You can also extend SimulationX with your own application-specific libraries or integrate SimulationX into your CAE world via interfaces, such as FMI®, Executable Model or our many XiL interfaces.
Highlights of this release
Simulate synchronous circuits efficiently with Modelica’s synchronous language elements
Historically known as a proven solution with a focus on simulating physical systems, SimulationX 3.9 is making big strides towards providing a single modeling and simulation platform for complete, technical systems. By implementing the Modelica®** Synchronous language elements, ESI’s software is now able to efficiently simulate synchronous circuits as used in almost all digital controls. With SimulationX, digital control structures can now efficiently be designed and tested in the same environment and in interaction with a model of the physical machine.
Efficient conveyor systems and minimal commissioning times with the new SimulationX Belt Conveyors library
SimulationX 3.9 masters both comfort and efficiency in system modeling and simulation to offer maximum freedom to all its users including those in the mining sector. The new SimulationX belt conveyor library integrates the use of a novel approach for automated model setup and modeling of belt conveyor systems. Users who face specific analysis tasks can combine the belt conveyor models with proven elements from further SimulationX libraries, such as Power Transmission, Electro-Mechanics and Heat Transfer.
