MOR Assistant is a software tool designed to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) models through Reduced Order Modelling (ROM). It leverages AI/ROM technology to streamline the calibration of numerical parameters, particularly in complex simulations like airbag deployment in car crash scenarios.
Key Features:
- Improved Calibration Efficiency: traditional calibration of model parameters is time-consuming and often imprecise. ROM methodology accelerates this process by testing thousands of parameter combinations in days rather than weeks.
- Enhanced Model Quality: by enabling the exploration of a wider range of parameters, ROM improves the quality of models used in car crash simulations.
- Industrial Application: the effectiveness of ROM has been demonstrated through an airbag calibration study, utilizing Proper Generalized Decomposition (PGD) and Design Of Experiments (DOE) methods.
