ESI Virtual Seat Solution is a solution dedicated to the virtual prototyping of seats. It empowers OEMs and seat suppliers to design, manufacture, test, improve and pre-certify their seat prototypes, fully and virtually, without the need for costly physical prototypes.

This version is based on the following platforms versions:

  • Visual-Environment 12.0
  • VPS Solver 2016.0

First Aeronautic version of Virtual Seat Solution

  • Seat Comfort (static and vibratory comfort)
  • Living Space
  • Certification containing for this first version Hybrid II seating
  • Human Model evolution to better take into account what happens in the arms & calf area

Enhancement for ground transportation

  • Towards Early Feasibility with guided seat model workflow, component replacement and connection adviser.
  • Whiplash: addition of embedded ChinaNCAP, BioRID II v3.0, new seat positioners, and simultaneous launch of multi-pulses sled.
