ESI Virtual Seat Solution is a solution dedicated to the virtual prototyping of seats. It empowers OEMs and seat suppliers to design, manufacture, test, improve and pre-certify their seat prototypes, fully and virtually, without the need for costly physical prototypes.

This version is based on the following platforms versions:

  • Visual-Environment 12.5
  • VPS Solvers 2016.01

Highligths of this release:

Ground transportation version of Virtual Seat Solution

  • H-Point Optimization: new functionality to recommend the right foam material properties to reach a targeted H-Point.
  • Foam Manufacturing: new application to simulate foam injection process and recover the related foam material properties in the single core model.

Aeronautic version of Virtual Seat Solution

  • Human Model postures: a positioner motion supports the set-up of new postures for human models.
  • Seat Modelling: Enhanced functionalities to manage easily the seat modelling.
