This tutorial demonstrates how to compute the vibro-acoustic response of an internal coupled system with porous media, using Visual NVH-IA context and VPS solver. As shown in the VPS below, the model is made of a simple elastic plate excited by a mechanical force, and covered on its upper face by a foam layer plus a septum. This system is enclosed in a rigid cavity in which a set of 15 microphones is placed. The results which are presented are the pressure level at microphone locations as well the normal acceleration on a set of 12 accelerometers dispatched on the plate surface. The effect of the septum mass density on the vibration of the panel, in the range frequency [10:350]Hz, is also investigated.
