In the December 2016 release of PAM-COMPOSITES, important enhancements have been implemented in its PAM-RTM module. For instance, it is now possible to account for mechanical deformation occurring during Vacuum Assisted Resin Infusion (VARI) process thanks to the availability of a unique fluid-mechanics coupled solver. Indeed, thickness variations due to the resin pressure are computed. It results in a variation of the fiber volume contents and thus of the local permeabilities. The accuracy of the resin flow pattern and filling time are consequently improved.
Other major enhancements such as particle display and tracking or, regions based on CAD entities are also implemented in that release.
This webinar intends to cover all major new developments through a presentation and live demo.
