ESI ACE+ Suite 2016.0 Patch 2 release includes several bug fixes and improvements.

Highlights of this Patch release:

  • CFD-ACE+: Bug fixes related to electroplating and removal of distortions in cycle-averaged quantities in parallel restart of CCP simulations.
  • CFD-CADalyzer: Bug fixes related to symmetry drawing, viewer settings for bounding box and plotting of monitor points.
  • CFD-GEOM: Bug fixes related to graphical display of projected faces after changes in an underlying edge.
  • CFD-VisCART: Bug fixes related to boundary layer generation, deletion of sources, shared boundary nodes causing dtf_decompose crash and proper reading of part names with newline characters.
  • CFD-VIEW: Bug fixes and improvements related to scripting.

If you encounter execution problems with CFD-GEOM or CFD-VisCART, they can be resolved by installing some Microsoft Visual-C++ redistributable runtimes available in MSVCRedist directory.
