Hybrid transmission loss provides an efficient way of predicting the transmission loss of a complex panel modeled in FE Structure. The main advantage is provided by the SIF and its capability to connect with FE subsystems (i.e. no modeling of the acoustic field with FE acoustics is required). How is this calculated?
